We support a nationwide effort to send Shoeboxes to children throughout the world. These boxes are collected and transported by Samaritan's Purse to needy children throughout the world. The shoe boxes are stuffed with toys/school and health supplies along with Christian literature in the children's own language, delivered personally by OCC volunteers who offer follow-up classes to the children. 

 Operation Christmas Child is a way to get into the Holiday Spirit while supplying a needy child with what might be his/her first "gift" and his/her first "Exposure to the Love of Jesus Christ". We have been successful at supplying over 50 boxes for shipment in previous years and look forward to more families "catching the spirit" of sharing the good news of Christ in this special way. We can track where our boxes finally end up and celebrate the evangelism we personally shared with children in one of over 150 countries overseas.
