Women's Study and Breakfast
Open to the public.
The women that have been studying together have decided to change our meeting day, time and how we do things, so------. We will be meeting on the 4th Saturday of the month beginning in September. Our next meeting will be on September 28th at 9:00 am which is also a change, and everyone is invited. We will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall downstairs. Bob Ulreich and crew will be cooking breakfast for us, which is something everyone is looking forward to! After breakfast we will have a speaker and are looking forward to having Dan Caster share his story with us.
Dan Caster is an artist that was raised in western New York. He left the area to study at the Art Center College of Design before returning to Rochester to finish his art degree at RIT. At that time, he was recruited by the Central Intelligence Agency. As part of his work, he conducted special, covert military operations around the world. He was struck by how many of his fellow operators were Native American. His deep respect and admiration for their culture drew him in. His years of working with these men and women, and participating in their cultural rituals has culminated in his phenomenal art work.
This event is open to the public but we would like to ask you to sign up at Messiah Lutheran Church or call the Church office to let us know you are coming to help us in our planning. We will be asking for a donation of $5.00. The telephone number is 865-1866. All are welcome and encouraged to come.
