Joy Beyond the Bend

Joy Beyond the Bend is a support group open to anyone who has lost a family member, friend, relationship, or even a beloved pet.  We meet the third Tuesday of every month at 11:30 a.m. in the Messiah parking lot to carpool to a restaurant.  Each month the group has lunch at a restaurant that the members have chosen in advance. 

Lunch is followed by a meeting held at the church. The meeting format always includes a prayer, and either a meditation or a short topic with discussion.  After the meeting, we play an easy card game, Crazy Rummy, and have lots of laughs.  Everyone is welcome.  If you know of a friend who might benefit by being with this group, please invite them.  They do not have to be a member of Messiah.
